Hey, kids, remember Gretchen Mol? She was one of those Hollywood “It” girls for a while back around 1999-2000, when Hollywood grabbed a handful of pretty actresses and threw them at the wall, hoping at least one or two of them stuck. Gretchen Mol was one of the girls that didn’t stick. But man, Hollywood sure tried hard. Gretchen made her real big splash in 1999’s “The Thirteenth Floor”, and in the same year, Hollywood put her in four other movies, but none of them made much of an impact. Gretchen’s big comeback was 2005’s “The Notorious Bettie Page”, where she played Page, the famous pin-up girl. Since then she’s worked steadily, and in 2008 can be seen in “Boys of Pigs” and in 2009, “Tenure”.
