Rick Schroder Joins Season 6 of “24″

Trade mag Variety reports that former child star turned respectable adult actor Rick Schroder has signed on to be a regular on Season 6 of Fox’s action-adventure series “24″. He’ll be battling terrorist scum alongside Jack Bauer as a CTU field operative name Mike Doyle. Knowing the show, Schroder’s Doyle will either end up being a CTU mole or get his hand (or a similar appendage) chopped off at the end of the season. Jack Bauer and company returns to kick terrorist ass January 2007 on Fox.

That’s right, guys. Your life now depends on that kid from “Silver Spoons” defeating Middle Eastern terrorists. God help us all.
