Sharon Stone’s Basic Instinct 2 Bombs

It could be Sharon’s age, or the fact that it’s just a retread of the original, but whatever the reason Sharon Stone’s much ballyhooed “Basic Instinct 2″ failed to ignite the box office this weekend. Well, it failed to ignite much of anything, actually, including men’s loans. Ouch.

In honor of Sharon’s crushing failure to reclaim her box office glory, here is everyone’s favorite beaver-spreading movie star in hotter (younger) days:
