Sophia Bush Gets Bushwhacked by The Hitcher Remake

Word out of LalaLand is that “One Tree Hill’s” Sophia Bush has been cast in the remake of the thriller/slasher “The Hitcher”, with perennial Brit bad guy Sean Bean playing the titular villain. A remake of the 1986 original, “The Hitcher” finds a couple driving cross country when they make the mistake of picking up — dum de dum dum dum!!!!! — the Hitcher. Rutger Hauer played the original Hitcher, and the two original couples were played by Jennifer Jason Leigh and C. Thomas Howell. Hey, here’s a good idea, why not get C. Thomas Howell to play the role again! Yeah! Um, probably not.
