There is good news and bad news about the upcoming fourth season of “Stargate: Atlantis”. The good news first: Amanda Tapping joins the cast, reprising her role of Samantha Carter from the long-running “Stargate: SG1″ series, which has ended after its recent tenth season. Now the bad news: Torri Higginson has been been killed off “Atlantis”. Or at least, it seems like she’s been killed off. The last time we saw her, she was blasted halfway across the Atlantis station by a giant laser beam, so you know, she looked dead (or will be) to me.
