Actress Taryn Southern was actually one of the finalists on American Idol’s Season 3, but she must not have gotten a lot of camera time because I don’t remember her. Then again, it’s not like I watch a whole lot of American Idol until Katharine McPhee blew up and got me interested again. Anyhoo. Besides appearing on talk shows, she’s worked the red carpets of the Young Hollywood Awards and the Golden Globes, and has co-produced a documentary on the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, as well as produced and starred in Project MyWorld, the first ever original television series on DirecTV. And of course there’s that “Hott 4 Hill” video that is all the rage on YouTube. The girl is, in a word, busy.
