And apparently they’re still pissed off at Dubya. Whatever. Musicians getting involved in politics is like actors getting involved in politics — it ain’t ever pretty. Here are the chicksies doing a new photoshoot in service of their new, upcoming album which is apparently not country, but rather pop. I think. Time will tell if the pop crowd will embrace them like their country crowd did. But damn, didn’t the Dixie Chicks used to be pretty? Why do they look so hard and unfriendly? I guess it’s part of their new “pop” personality.
