You know I love me my zombie movies, so this news from ComingSoon is right up my alley. It would appear “Transformers” dude Tyrese Gibson, who was last mentioned to be trying to get a Luke Cage movie made, will be producing a zombie movie called “Condition Dead” that will be “a no-holds barred zombie film in the vein of James Cameron’s ‘Aliens’.” Comparing yourself to a badass piece of work like “Aliens” is not a good idea, especially when you don’t have Cameron on board, and instead all you got is Patrick Lussier, aka the King Director of direct-to-video pointless movie sequels.

Script, which centers on an elite team of government-subsidized zombie-hunters who are mysteriously ambushed by a viscous new breed of zombie, was written by tyro scribe Dave Davis.
Lead producer on the project, Los Angeles based Shaink says, “Being a big fan of the genre (zombie films), I’m extremely excited to have found a project that brings something new to the world, and that gives us one hell of a great ride doing so.”
