…about being British in the NBA, of course. Former NBA player John Amaechi was recently on Comedy Central’s “The Colbert Report”, and topics such as, “How does an English person talk smack on a basketball court” and how a British person learned to play basketball came up, as they always invariably do when someone who is British tells you he actually plays sports for a living, and that sport isn’t soccer. And oh yeah, apparently John Amaechi is gay, too. Who would have thunk it? John was a good sport, though, playing to Colbert’s zany questions. All to get a laugh, as they say.
