So what the flying heck are the Annie Awards, and how the flying heck can it be in its 34th year and nobody has ever bothered to tell me about it? Well apparently the Annie Awards is a Hollywood movie awards show for animation. Film, TV, games, even commercials, if you can believe it. These guys have been around since 1972, apparently, which I’m sure is news to just about everyone in Hollywood — until they get nominated, that is. So who is up for this year’s, er, Annies (??)
