Mel Gibson strikes back, Leonardo DiCaprio does some weird accent, Cameron Diaz sours the holidays, and kids have fun without adult supervision. Four new movies, each one vastly different from one another, which means anyone who wants to see something has a movie just for them. The most intriguing of them all is no doubt Mel Gibson’s “Apocalypto”, his second movie shot in a dead language about the Mayans and what happened to them. “Blood Diamond” looks to be a decent action thriller with a dash of social junk, while “The Holiday” is strictly for guys looking to make out with their first dates. And should I even bother with “Unaccompanied Minors”?

My pick for this week would be “Apocalypto”. How could you go wrong with a Mel Gibson movie shot in a dead language? I mean, come on, it’s crazy Mel here! Some stills and trailer for the movie below.
