Hollywood remakes another horror movie, this time 1974’s “Black Christmas”; meanwhile, Clive Owen runs from “Children of Men”; and something called “Perfume: The Story of a Murderer”, which is about “a gifted perfume-maker in 18th century Paris who is driven to murder by an obsessive search for the ultimate irresistible scent.” Or something. In limited release, you have a slightly better selection, including Cate Blanchett in “Notes on a Scandal” and Pittsburgh hater Sienna Miller in “Factory Girl”. If you’re in a mood for horror, go for Guillermo Del Toro’s “Pan’s Labyrinth”.
For you geeks out there, Del Toro’s “Pan’s Labyrinth” is your best bet for a night out with the guys and a keg of beer. Check out some stills from the Spanish horror movie below.
