What happens when horror filmmakers run out of interesting titles? They just start combining genre-related words into something that only sort of makes sense. Granted, “Ghost Forest House” is probably the result of a direct translation, but it’s dry nonetheless. At least prospective viewers know exactly what they’re getting. If the filmmakers don’t deliver a ghost, a forest, and a house, then we’re going to have some problems.
As far as I can tell, the story follows the adventures of a doctor who returns to the village where he grew up. Once there, he reconnects with a few of his old childhood friends. After a bit of reminiscing, talk soon turns to the old house in the forest they once visited as children. Judging from the clip, something evil and supernatural is still lurking in that cabin.
If I’m completely wrong, please feel free to blame Google Translate. I did my best deciphering the translation, but I can’t say for sure I’m 100% accurate. Sorry about that in advance.
