Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance (2012) Movie French PosterI’ll be the first to admit that this isn’t much of a news story. A French movie poster? Please. If I didn’t have a weird picture of Nicolas Cage in the center of the artwork, I probably wouldn’t give a two solid craps about it. However, it does feature Cage, and there’s also a pretty nifty shot of the titular hero blazing down the highway. What can I say? I’m a sucker for such Cage-related tomfoolery, especially when it has the potential to be extremely badass. Compared to the first one, anyway.

Here’s a synopsis if you’re unfamiliar with the plot:

It has been several years since making a deal with the Devil and Johnny Blaze (Nicolas Cage), living in self-imposed isolation, finds himself as the only person who can help save 10-year-old Danny – and ultimately the world – thanks to his unwanted and uncontrollable power – his ability to transform into the hell-on-wheels monster known as The Ghost Rider.

Brian Taylor and Mark Neveldine’s “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance” stars Cage, Idris Elba, Violante Placido, Johnny Whitworth, and Ciarian Hinds. The previously-released trailer resides below. The poster, meanwhile, was at the door on your way in.
