Yeah, yeah, I know, those pictures from the set of Stephen Sommers’ “G.I. Joe” didn’t exactly leave us salivating for more Joe action, and to be sure, those ridiculously corny, generic character pics Paramount released a while back like they were some ridiculously hot item didn’t exactly set the Interwebs on fire. But, you know, being that we are creatures of nostalgia, and Joe comes straight from our childhood, I’m sure we’re all willing to give “G.I. Joe” the benefit of the doubt. At least, until the advance reviews start coming out. If this thing turns out to be as bad as it looks, man, someone’s gonna get kick in the balls.
Here’s the latest, a character poster for Duke via the site Film1. (Thanks to reader Dan for the heads up.) According to the fellow who snapped the pic, he saw it at the Cinema EXPO in Amsterdam.
So, is “G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra” now the film’s official title? Eh, your guess is as good as mine, by which I mean, bleh.
More posters, these one featuring Snake Eyes and Baroness, from the same site:
