Oh come on, admit it — 24 just hasn’t been 24 since they killed off Nina Myers. How great was Nina, and how great was Sarah Clarke, who plays her? So good that Seasons 1 and 2 remains my favorite only because Sarah’s Nina was around to cause havoc to poor Jack Bauer. And then they had to go and kill her off. Lame, guys, real lame. Our cutie killer assassin Mandy (aka Mia Kirshner) at the Venice Film Festival premiere of her new movie “The Black Dahlia”, in which Mia plays a dead chick. Which, for fans of “24″, is how you don’t want to see Mia’s character Mandy. Oh admit it, you LOVE Mandy, her evil, lesbian lovin’, killer ways and all. And since the producers killed of Nina Myers (what were they thinking???) Mandy is our last best hope for bad girl coolness.

I guess Audrey Raines (aka Kim Raver) felt a little better seeing Jack Bauer nab the Oscar. I mean, the guy got kidnapped by the Chinese and, one presumes, got the sh*t tortured out of him and stuff. The least the Emmys could do was give the dude an Emmy. With Season 6 already starting off to a great start (Emmy wins are always good thing for a show’s longetivity), here’s Kim Raver at the 20th Century Fox Emmy Party.

Chloe O’Brien (aka Mary Lynn Rajskub) at the Creative Arts Awards in a nice blue number. I still think Mary Lynn’s signature appearance was a visit to Conan O’Brien’s (no relation) talk show, where she put on an excellent show, including a story about how John Corbett of “Northern Exposure” once thought she was retarded because of the way she looked. Priceless!

There is really no context to this posting of Elisha Cuthbert, aka Kim Bauer, except to point out that she is really, really short. Either that, or there is a really big, giant woman walking around the same event that Elisha is attending and stopping to take pictures with her. I kinda like this idea better.
Kate Warner Demands a Comeback

If you’re like me, you were probably pretty ticked that all Kate Warner (aka Saray Wynter) got was a lousy “phone call” scene in Season 3 with Jack Bauer after all that she went through in the previous season. I mean, come on, producers, could you at least have given us something more? I bet I wasn’t the only one who felt gypped. Anyways, here are some new Sarah Wynter, looking a tad like Elisha Cuthbert, don’t you think? P.S. If you haven’t, check out Sarah’s audio commentary in the Season 2 DVD boxset. She’s insanely funny in it.
