In case you didn’t quite “get it” from the last two trailers for “District 9” director Neill Blomkamp’s “Elysium”, yes, it’s a big ol social allegory about class, immigration, and all that good stuff. This new featurette, featuring interviews with the cast and crew, reminds you of that point. Because, you know, there might be some of you out there too thick to get it. Got it now? Good.

Don’t worry, though, even if you could care less about rich and poor and class, “Elysium” looks like it’s got some pretty badass action for you to chew on. Check it out.

In the year 2159, two classes of people exist: the very wealthy “Coordinators,” people who can afford bio-genetical engineering, who live on a pristine man-made space station called Elysium, built by the Armadyne Corporation, and the rest, who live on an overpopulated, ruined Earth. Secretary Rhodes, a hard government official, will stop at nothing to enforce anti-immigration laws and preserve the luxurious lifestyle of the citizens of Elysium. That doesn’t stop the people of Earth from trying to get in, by any means they can. When unlucky ex-con Max is backed into a corner, he agrees to take on a daunting mission that if successful will not only save his life, but could bring equality to these polarized worlds.

Starring Matt Damon, Jodie Foster, Sharlto Copley, Wagner Moura, and Alice Braga.
