if you knew the Green Arrow character, then you would know that he’s trained with the same teacher as Deathstroke. he’s agile and a skilled hand to hand combatant. Unlike Batman, Oliver Queen is loud and opinionated. He’s stubborn, political, and is more concerned with helping the common man rather than taking down over the top gimmick-driven villains.

open your mind a little, get rid of the bias you have, and read Green Arrow as Green Arrow (not a batman wannabe – because essentially he’s very distinguishable)

I think gren arrows cool. exspecialy the green arrow in smallville. The movie should be alot like that.The only problem is he is too much like batman

I’ve tried. I thought the recent Year One limited series had its moments, but at the end of the day it was still about a guy in a green get-up who fires tricked out arrows at people with machineguns. Seriously, the only way to make this thing is to get him out of that costume pretty fast and burn it. Turn Arrow into more of a Bullseye or Ultimates Hawkeye type character.

Why not read a little about Green Arrow, and perhaps some of his stories, particularly the Green Lantern/Green Arrow stories by Dennis O’Neil and Neal Adams, before you make up your mind about the character?
