Grand Theft Auto 5’s Official Trailer Gets Back in the Game

Grand Theft Auto 5

For some reason, I thought Rockstar Games had already released an official trailer for their latest “Grand Theft Auto” title (that would be #5 for those of you jotting notes down at home), but I guess not, because this latest trailer is labeled the “official trailer”. They should know, right? It is their game, after all.

Here’s the storyline — because if there’s one thing the “Grand Theft Auto” games are known for, it’s an honest to goodness decent storyline. (As opposed to, you know, the “Call of Duty” games, which is really just an excuse to hone your shooting skills until you feel confident enough to jump into the very dangerous world of online multiplayer fragging.)

Los Santos: a sprawling metropolis full of self-help gurus, starlets and fading celebrities struggling to stay afloat in an era of economic uncertainty and cheap cable TV. Amidst the turmoil, three very different criminals risk everything in a series of daring and dangerous heists that could set them up for life.

The game is rated Mature for “Intense Violence, Blood and Gore, Nudity, Mature Humor, Strong Language, Strong Sexual Content, Use of Drugs and Alcohol”. Basically, everything you wanted and more from your GTA games.

The theft begins on all platforms this September 17th. I can’t wait to run around with that mini-gun!
