Ship just got real, yo.
Check out the jazzy trailer for Paradox Interactive’s new sea-based strategy game “Leviathan: Warships”. This reminds me of “Age of Empires”. You know, the very first one. I tried playing “Age of Empires 2” and some later iterations, but I just couldn’t. There were like 200 things I needed to do before I could even start battling, and frankly I just don’t have the time to figure it all out.
I’m not sure if “Leviathan: Warships” is that complicated, though it looks to be a little bit more simple, even for my simple mind. If nothing else, then I’m definitely going to remember its game trailer. In this day and age of games that spend years in development and costs millions to make and promote, it’s kind of refreshing to see someone take a different approach to promotion.
If I do end up with a copy of “Leviathan: Warships”, you can bet your ass I’ll be playing it with some jazz tracks running in the background. And hey, it costs less than a “real” boat, so what are you waiting for? Pre-order a copy now.
Sailing onto PC, Mac, iOS, and Android on April 30.
