This is the last post I’m going to make about a movie getting the 3D treatment. At this point, the fact that a movie is being converted to 3D or envisioned as a 3D movie is so expected that it’s when a film isn’t going the 3D route that real news is made. So yeah, Warner Bros. has announced that they will be offering up Martin Campbell’s “Green Lantern” and Zack Snyder’s “Sucker Punch” in 3D. The two films will join fellow Warner Bros. products “Clash of the Titans” and “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” as studio films to take advantage of the current love affair with 3D.
You know what this means — when Hal Jordan hits the bad guys with a giant green hammer, it’ll be, like, coming right at you! Look, this is progress, people, deal with it.
