“Green Mile”, “Sin City”, and “Armageddon” star Michael Clarke Duncan has passed away at the age of 54. His publicist Joy Fehily confirmed to the media that the actor passed away from a “myocardial infarction.” This comes after Duncan was hospitalized back in July from a heart attack.
Duncan’s break-through role was 1999’s “The Green Mile”, based on the Stephen King story. The role landed Duncan a Best Supporting Actor Oscar nomination, and he’s been working steadily ever since. Fanboys may also know him as the Kingpin in “Daredevil”, and he lent his voice to a character in “Kung Fu Panda”. He was recently a regular on the canceled Fox show “The Finder”.
News of his passing was first revealed by his fiancee.
