Blueprint Pictures, along with CBS Films, has announced that “In Bruges” director Martin McDonagh has added Woody Harrelson, Tom Waits, and former Bond girl Olga Kurylenko will to the cast of his latest action-comedy, “Seven Psychopaths”.
Harrelson is replacing Mickey Rourke in the film, after Rourke passed on “The Expendables” in order to star in “Psychopaths”. Apparently not liking what he found on the set, Rourke has bailed, as he’s wont to do, and Harrelson has stepped in to replace him. I suppose you would do worst.
“Seven Psychopaths” stars Colin Farrell, playing a struggling screenwriter who inadvertently becomes entangled in the Los Angeles criminal underworld after his oddball friends — played by very capably oddballs Sam Rockwell and Christopher Walken — kidnap a gangster’s beloved Shih Tzu. Harrelson will play said gangster. We presume an extensive cross-country search has also taken place for the pivotal role of the Shih Tzu.
No word on who Tom Waits or Kurylenko will play, though I suspect Kurylenko will be some deadly femme fatale type-ish. She’s very good at that, the lass.
