Harrison Ford back for Indy 5? Of Course he is.

Almost 70 or not, you can’t have an “Indiana Jones” movie without, you know, Indiana Jones. And at this point, rebooting it and going with a younger actor would be just plain silly (though expect it to happen in, oh, 5 to 10 years, give or take). So, despite the questionable linkage in this story that has Ford returning despite hitting the big 6-7, I don’t really have any doubts that this is true. And why wouldn’t it be? Ford, at this age, is still the highest earning actor in Hollywood, according to Forbes.com’s recent list. Gotta keep making that money to keep the young trophy girlfriend, Harrison.

Anyhoo, the story comes from TheInsider.com, who quotes a never-heard-of-it-before blog called UselessPlace.com on their story. Granted, not exactly great sources there, but we already know that Shia LaBeouf is ready to come back, and he’s gotten the word from the horse’s mouth itself (aka Steven Spielberg) that he’s “cracked” the return plot, and that a sequel was “gearing up”.

So what’s to stop Indy 5 from happening? Not much, buckaroo. Expect Indy 5 in 2011 with LaBeouf and Ford back in the saddle again.
