Harrison Ford is Added to the Expendables 3 and Bruce Willis is Subtracted

Harrison Ford

It appears there are some heavy shake-up going in the world of “The Expendables 3″. Sylvester Stallone has officially tweeted the addition of Harrison Ford (that’s right, Indiana Jones himself) to the cast of his upcoming “The Expendables 3″, while at the same time announcing the departure of Bruce Willis, who showed up in a cameo in the first movie, but was featured in an expanded role in the second one.

The Sly one writes:

Moments after that tweet, he added this one:

Hmm, I wonder who he’s talking about there? Moments after telling everyone that Willis is out and Ford is in, we get some very “burning the bridges” comment about a “greedy and lazy” … someone. Gee, I wonder who he’s talking about!

Ahem.

Newcomer Ford joins a crowded cast of tough guys, including fellow newcomers Jackie Chan, Nicolas Cage, Victor Ortiz, and Rhonda Rhousey, and old returnees Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, and Terry Crews. Stallone has also previously hinted at Mel Gibson also joining the sequel, but no idea if that’s still happening.

Patrick Hughes is directing the sequel, which is expected to blow’em up good next year, August 15, 2014.

I thought that the first tweet was a bit insulting to Willis having not even metioned any well wishes to Stallone’s longtime friend and collaborator then I read the second on e! WOW! Totally buried Mr. Die Hard there! LOL!

      Yippie Ki Yay!!!
But Ford being in this is awesome. He’s gotta play like the mentor to Stallone or something like that. Otherwise he’ll be a beuracrat. He could play the villain though, haven’t seen him do evil really since “What Lies Beneath.” But I’d rather him play the mentor.

Bruce Willis seems to be doing his best to alienate both his collaborators and his audience. He is rude to pretty much everyone involved in his projects and doesn’t even seem to care when he is out to promote the movies. Maybe he should just retire now if he hates it that much, it’s not like he really needs to money anymore.

Yeah, I’ve heard about Willis’ attitude but he must have pulled a real dick move for Stallone to put him on blast like that! LOL. Those two have been roll dogs since the Planet Hollywood days. Too bad McClane and Rambo go together like peas and carrots. They even share the same, fictional first names :(
