Harrison Ford is Added to the Expendables 3 and Bruce Willis is Subtracted

It appears there are some heavy shake-up going in the world of “The Expendables 3”. Sylvester Stallone has officially tweeted the addition of Harrison Ford (that’s right, Indiana Jones himself) to the cast of his upcoming “The Expendables 3”, while at the same time announcing the departure of Bruce Willis, who showed up in a cameo in the first movie, but was featured in an expanded role in the second one.

The Sly one writes:

Moments after that tweet, he added this one:

Hmm, I wonder who he’s talking about there? Moments after telling everyone that Willis is out and Ford is in, we get some very “burning the bridges” comment about a “greedy and lazy” … someone. Gee, I wonder who he’s talking about!

Newcomer Ford joins a crowded cast of tough guys, including fellow newcomers Jackie Chan, Nicolas Cage, Victor Ortiz, and Rhonda Rhousey, and old returnees Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, and Terry Crews. Stallone has also previously hinted at Mel Gibson also joining the sequel, but no idea if that’s still happening.

Patrick Hughes is directing the sequel, which is expected to blow’em up good next year, August 15, 2014.
