Geez, I can’t believe they’re already set to shoot and release the next Harry Potter movie, “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince”. I don’t even know what part that is, that’s how “tuned in” I am to the whole Harry Potter stuff. But as a service to all of you who still like this franchise (I stopped watching after the second one bored me to tears), here is your gratuitous Harry Potter news: “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” has rounded out its cast, which includes new characters including the young Voldemort, Lavender Brown and Professor Slughorn. Geez, there is a character name “Professor Slughorn” in this thing? Crikey, what are you kids reading nowadays?

Some of the casting includes:

Stepping into the part of the prebuescent Lord Voldemort, back when he was just Tom Riddle, will be nine-year-old Hero Fiennes Tiffin. The youngster will bring a real-life resemblance, as he just so happens to be the nephew of Ralph Fiennes, who plays the adult version of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.

Essaying Voldemort as a mischievous teenager will be 16-year-old Frank Dillane. Helen McCrory (The Queen, Becoming Jane) has signed on to play Narcissa Black Malfoy, the mother of Harry’s nemesis, Draco Malfoy.

And much to the chagrin of thousands of aspiring actresses who turned out to audition, the role of Ron’s love interest, Lavender Brown, went to 20-year-old actress Jessie Cave.

And the rest can be found here.

I liked Harry Potter better when Lindsay Lohan was playing Hermione.

Well, I agree most of the movies are really really bad, but Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was actually well done, you should see it before you write off an entire series because of Chris Columbus…

But I would definitely skip over Alfonso Cuaron and Mike Newell’s contributions, as they are crap.

really? why are you hatin on a world wide famous collection of books and movies? if you want to hate, hate twilight for all i care. harry potter is something alot of people connect to. the movies may not always follow the plot exactly, but you can only do so much in 2 hours. harry potter is an amazing series written by an amazing author. it inspires many, and it leaves people speachless. now, stop hatin, get a damn life. harry potter’s the bomb(like tick tick), and if you don’t like it, go f*#!@ yourself

Lindsay Lohan DID play Hermione, but not in the movies. On Saturday Night Live, they did comedy sketches of Harry Potter and she was cast as Hermione. I love HP but those comedy sketches were pretty funny too.
