Let’s face it, we’re all curious about the careers of the “Harry Potter” kids post-Hogwarts. Who will make it big? Who will end up in a hotel with a hooker after a five-day meth binge? Not all three of them can make it. When has it ever happened that every single kid actor in a popular movie/franchise grew up into respectable actors? Almost always never the case. But it certainly looks like “Harry Potter” lead Daniel Radcliffe has lined up the projects that will take him from kid wizard to adult actor. Or at least, that’s the plan. Check out some first images from one of Radcliffe’s post-“Potter” movies, “The Woman in Black”.
The story follows a young lawyer, Arthur Kipps (Radcliffe), who is ordered to travel to a remote village and sort out a recently deceased client’s papers. As he works alone in the client’s isolated house, Kipps begins to uncover tragic secrets, his unease growing when he glimpses a mysterious woman dressed only in black. Receiving only silence from the locals, Kipps is forced to uncover the true identity of the Woman in Black on his own, leading to a desperate race against time when he discovers her true intent.
Radcliffe stars in “The Woman in Black” alongside Ciaran Hinds, Liz White, Janet McTeer, and Alisa Khazanova. James Watkins directs from a script by Jane Goldman (of “Kick Ass” infamy), based on the novel by Susan Hill.
