I have read and own every Twilight and House of night book. I love vampire books in general. I do L O V E these books, but I wish that everyone would quit being so crazy. Seriously, there are twilight action figures! Hollywood is taking AMAZING vampire books and making them into movies and people who have NEVER read the books think they are “the shit” because they saw the movie. I just think everyone is going a little far with all this.

Now before you start slandering me on the internet…I do like the Twilight movie, I own it (the soundtrack too actually). I would go see a movie about the House of night. But just remember books are A L W A Y S better than movies.

before you go all Rabid Twilight fan-person on me, don’t condem this series just because they do not sparkle (Which I still do not understand where on earth she got that one from). These books follow the original myths that follow Vampyre myths that have been developed since ancient greek. The house of night serise is in depth, connetable characters and a well writen book (for a teen novel). And while Twilight does have it’s own good parts, these books show a different side of the idea of a protagonist Vampire, one that is eaiser to follow and aspect than the usual hunky, yet stonic teenage hero that just happens to suck animal blood

Don’t blinldy say that this is dumb, without giving the time to come up with valid reason. And Don’t Base your assumptions on what makes a good vampire novel, On one romance novel which has a slight, and heavily adulterated vampire twist

I dont know why people are arguing over what series is best!!! It’s very annoying as each series has their merits and their faults. But it is FICTION!!! THEY ARE NOT TRUE!!!! Why does it matter if Edward sparkling is better than the varieties of vampyres?!?! It does’nt!!!! So stop arguing peeps!! There’s no need for it.

Well, you haven’t read the website… There are substances in the vampire body that replace blood – that is one.

And isn’t this a discussion about the vampyres in the House of Night. Twilight doesn’t come into it because ALL aspects are very diffrent Even the name is spelt different!!!

you have to realize that its poor filming and not done by a big movie producer or anything. They would prolly (yes I siad prolly lol) go about the chracters images and the filming totally different

yeah Twilight is cool and all just as much as harry potter BUT unless you have read the entire series of The House of Night you’de see that its completely different! She goes to a school, in her same town, there are like some all over the U.S. and Europe and other far off places. There’s history involved, Native American history. I’m sticking up for this because I like it, a lot in fact! I mean unless you have actually read the books, I wouldn’t go judgeing it right away. I mean the only thing that bothers me is the people the authors have potraying them on their website, they can do much better lol Zoey looks toooo old
