I disagree. I had no desire to read the Twlight books until I watched the movie. My only concern is that books are usually better than the movies and I really like the HON books. If they are put on the big screen, I hope they stay true to the books.

yeah i read twilight and saw the movie the book was better
it always is
making house of night a movie would take all the imagination out of it
the characters will become what you see not what you think
and that will ruin it
just like the volturi in twilight i mean have you seen the posters
they suck, they put blusher on vampires blusher!

Tbqh, i think that your comment sucks. House of night has an ORIGINAL take on the vampire genre, and although Twilight is amazing, you have to give House Of Night some credit, because there books are amazing.

<3 H.O.N !!!Twilight is getting so old. H.O.N. focuses more on teenagers and their struggles with couples drama and trying to fit in. I'm a HUGE Harry Potter fan and i dont think H.O.N. is a rip off of it. And if anyones notice twilight is quite similar to harry potter as well for example when edward says he cant be with bella its the exact thing harry says when he says he can t be with ginny!

I absolutely agree. I just finished Tempted and am not sure I can wait until May to find out what happens next. I am also a fan of Harry Potter and the Twilight books. I do feel that I am coming from a different angle, though, because I have been a fan of this kind of book since Anne Rice which dates back waaaay before Twilight and Harry Potter. The HON books are good, but very different. People just have to remeber to be open minded and give them a chance. I didn’t like the idea of vampires sparking before I read Twilight, but it proved not to matter.

are you kidding me. did you pay any attention to the whole story? Zoey rocks! and her friends. she deals with wayy more then that. Nefertet yes was messed up. however!!! she also has too deal with kalona. and heath dying. and controling the elemnets and using her powers for good. she suffered the worst heartbreack imaginable. she deserves better. she could have gave in. she could have gave up. plus like her family was any better! lost her father and dont foget the step loser and her horrible mother! sister was a s*** and worst bro eva!!! the heartbreak is not all zoeys fault. everyone loved her and she connected with them all even though one dies and another is a total b****. she suffered way more then harry ever did. i have read the books. and i usaed to love twilight but the more i think about it the less i like it. end of story.

I really enjoyed reading all three series. And I kinda agree with what other people are saying. I went to see Twilight the movie, and was like “What the hell is this?”. I plan to go see New Moon, but im afraid that the movie wont do that book justice either. Now the Harry Potter movies? Amazing. They were kinda skippy and hard to follow at times, but they were still REALLY good.

I would really like to see the House of Night series as a movie, but as other people have said, its not worth it if the director and crew are going to butcher it. Let’s just hope they do a good job with this one if they do it.

i too am twilight mad and a harry potter fan, if they can make these films a sucess why not house of night, also they have got a tv series out at the moment, i think its called the vampire diaries, those too were books and very good aswell XD

I love the series of house of night ive read all up to untramed and im getting the next two books soon. i love them all and i am a little cornerned… How will fire water ghosts air and earth be moed and called. I think the movie (s) couldn live up to the book bu i cant wait to see how it goes. I do hope howweer that they make all of the books into movies ^^

I think it’s stupid. They’re just going to ruin yet another awesome book series with fucking ugly characters who won’t match the character’s descriptions in the books. I’ve only seen a few movies where the characters fit the book descriptions(harry potter, twilight, lord of the rings). Most of the time, teh characters look like shit. If they’re using the characters they have posted on teh house of night series website…..Then yeah, as usual the characters are fucking ugly versions of the book charas running around on screen. =\
