The Avengers line up will be a version of the first Ultimates series, Cap America, Thor, Iron man, Black Widow ( introduced in Iron man 2, BTW), Giant Man, Nick Fury(already cast in Iron man 1), maybe Wasp (not likely). Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver will probably be left out due to budget or killed off in the first 30 min (rather see them than Giant man and Wasp honestly). Hulk will be the villain/antagonist. If they get it right with the right director and funding it could be the next Lord of the rings, I can see this concept in 3 movies/chapters.

the avengers movie should start with tony stark finding captain america frozen
in suspended animation in the arctic. then bring thor, hulk, antman and wasp, in
just like the comics. a good foe for them would be THANOS, or maybe ANIHILUS and
BLASTAR from the negative zone. HEY’ what about NAMOR THE SUBMARINER and his
atlanteans attack the surface world. of course if all else fails they could fight
KANG THE CONQUERER or ULTRON.

they need to replace ant man with wolverine. i know he wasnt part of the originals but ive heard rumors about him being in there. as for the whole story of hulk freaking out and the avengers stopping him that aint such a good idea only because it was done in the avengers cartoon movie. it was a good movie but the same idea would be lame since there are so many things to choose from.

They have never read the comics, because I know for a fact that Captain America was the assigned to be the first member of the avengers during his freezing process

Alright, I know they’re not going to put Ant-Man in there. YOu are thinking of GIant Man, and he’s part of the Ultimate avengers! SO there won’t be anyone inside the Avengers movie in 2011 besides the people already introduced, possibly Spider-Man, but he’s part of the New Avengers. But as always the movie companys will change things and out him into the movie. And there is a possibility that this will be the last Marvel movie including actors and actresses.

Wow that was a lot of Ant-Man hatred, and granted a movie based on that character does ring of Honey I Shunk the Kids though I assume with more crimefighting.

Still, the fanboy love for Wright is because he’s actually a good director and writer. So his Antman will probably be better than then most of the Marvel movies.

Besides who else is going to fly into Hulks brain and bring the big green giant down?

Get rid of the Ant man idea and bring on Thor who besides Capt America is the only two that can at least give Hulk a go for a slight minute really Hulk is supreme but please don’t let that be just the premise of the Avengers, bring on some great foes as well.
