Haunting and Atmospheric Teaser for Wilson Yip’s A Chinese Fairy Tale

I’ve been waiting for it, you’ve been waiting for it — well, I’m not sure if you’ve been waiting for the first teaser for director Wilson Yip’s “A Chinese Fairy Tale”, but I certainly know I have. The film, of course, is an adaptation of Pu Songling’s classic story, which also the basis for the 1987 masterpiece “A Chinese Ghost Story”. Those who have been waiting patiently to see actual footage from the flick will not be disappointed. The last shot is a doozy, and will linger in your brain longer than you may initially anticipate. Impressive stuff.

“A Chinese Fairy Tale” should hit theaters in China this April.
