Unless you count a lot of grunting as dialogue, then Hercules (played by Kellen Lutz) apparently has very little dialogue in Renny Harlin’s “The Legend of Hercules”. At least, according to these four clips from the movie, which is in keeping with the final trailer for the film, which similarly gave the star very little dialogue. In fact, in that trailer, you had to wait almost 90 seconds into the 2-minute trailer to hear Herc say anything.
Needless to say, I don’t think Dwayne Johnson and Brett Ratner will have a lot to worry about when it comes to getting more bang for their Hercules buck in the coming year. While “The Legend of Hercules” may be hitting theaters first, the, er, wanting nature of this movie might just make everyone long for the Brett Ratner-directed version. Which, yes, is something I didn’t think I’d ever write in my lifetime. But hey, maybe I’m wrong. Judge for yourself.

Through harrowing battles and gladiator-arena death matches, Hercules embarks on a legendary odyssey to overthrow the King and restore peace to the land.
