Here’s the Trailer for Twixt. And It’s Weird. Really Weird.

When I heard that filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola was returning the horror genre after an extended hiatus, I certainly wasn’t expecting anything quite like this. Below you’ll find the trailer for the acclaimed director’s upcoming endeavor “Twixt”, a supernatural yarn about a writer (Val Kilmer) who gets involved in a real-life supernatural mystery. Ghostly shenanigans quickly ensue. Although the film looks interesting, it’s still very different than what I had envisioned. Think the Coen Brothers meet “Suspiria”-era Argento. See what you think.

If you’re attending this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, swing by and check it out. The rest of us, unfortunately, will just have to wait a while. The trailer awaits.

Author: Todd Rigney

Todd was raised on a steady diet of Hollywood blockbusters, late-night Cinemax programming, and USA’s “Up All Night,” which may explain why his taste in movies is more than a little questionable. When he isn’t providing news and reviews for Beyond Hollywood, he can be found lounging lazily on his couch, perched in front of his television, or dwelling in places where direct sunlight can be easily avoided. He's happily married, in his 30's, and totally badass. If you'd like to reach Todd, you can follow him on Twitter or send him email/scoops to todd (at)
