Well, at least Dimension Films got two out of three. That ain’t bad.
Last we heard, the studio had made offers to three actors to join Wes Craven’s “Scream 4” — “Twilight’s” Ashley Greene would essentially play the franchise’s new young lead (Jill, the cousin of Neve Campbell’s Sidney character), while “Heroes'” Hayden Panettiere would play her movie geek roommate, and Rory Culkin, little bro of Macaulay Culkin of “Home Alone” fame, would play Greene’s love interest.
As we reported yesterday, Greene has since been replaced by Emma Roberts, and today, Comingsoon confirms that Dimension has cast Panettiere (below) and Culkin in the flick.
Wes Craven will direct from a script by Kevin Williamson. Production commences in June 2010 in Michigan.
