With the impeding conclusion of the “Harry Potter” franchise, Daniel Radcliffe is trying to reinvent his public image, as if he wants to scream, “I’m not a little boy anymore, I’m a god damned man, dammit!” He has committed to the upcoming horror film “The Woman in Black” for Hammer Films, as well as a stint on Broadway in “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying”. And now Entertainment Biz! reports that he may appear in “Jay and Seth vs. the Apocalypse”.
In film school Canadians Jay Baruchel and Seth Rogan made a trailer for the post-apocalyptic comedy “Jay and Seth vs. the Apocalypse”, and now they want to make it into a real life, big screen moving picture. From the looks of the trailer it appears to be their normal antics juxtaposed against the backdrop of a desolate wasteland, which sounds like a good time to me.
While it is just a rumor at this point, Radcliffe’s representation did say that the only commitments he has at the moment are the two already mentioned, and he has demonstrated a affection for comedy in the past.
