Hey, Ladies! Check Out the Men of Arrow Season 2 Shirtless

So there’s going to be a female cast equivalent of this, right? Fingers crossed!

Until then, get a load of the men of the CW’s “Arrow” Season 2 looking all shirtless and buffed and shiny and, well, manly. I wonder if there are private gyms for these guys on the show’s set. There has to be, right?

Shirtless and accounted for are “Arrow” star Stephen Amell, his would-be sidekick Colton Haynes, his confidant David Ramsay, and his mentor Manu Bennett, who may or may not eventually become Deathstroke. At this point, who knows. One thing’s for sure: the show’s second season continues to pile on the villains from the D.C. comic books, though all of them unpowered.

For now, anyway. Once the Flash shows up, all that no-powers stuff will be going out the window, I reckon. “Arrow” Season 2 shoots back onto TV sets this October 7th.

Man a female version of this would be so awesome! That show has some hotties!

I say we start a petition or something for the female one.
Question is not whether powers will fly out the window, the question is whether this will get linked to the DC cinematic universe.

That’s very doubtful. Warner Bros. is too big of a company with too many cooks in the kitchen. It took Marvel making a billion dollars with the Avengers for Warner Bros. to even grudgingly link up their movie universe. Otherwise, they would have just kept on doing the same stuff over and over again. Hollywood studios are nothing if not incredibly risk-averse.

Not to mention the caliber of actors on Arrow would be waaaaaay out of their league (pun intended) in a film with the likes of Cavill, Adams and Affleck. As much as I enjoy the show the acting is sub-par.
However, I would be all for the show bringing in other members of the JLA after they introduce The Flash in the upcoming season. With heavy hitters like Wonder Woman. Batman, Superman and the rest on the small screen they could launch a mini series or even a full series and establish their own universe on tv. They did that on a much smaller scale in Smallvile but I think a four or five season arc for Arrow could introduce the players and plot points to morph into a full fledged Justice League show.
