Honest Abe Has an Axe to Grind in These New Images from Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

The fact that someone out there is actually making a motion picture centered around President Lincoln battling slave-owning vampires is astounding, and I’m forever thankful to the suit who gave this outrageous project the proverbial greenlight. Below you’ll find two new Abe-centric photos from the Tim Burton-produced, Timur Bekmambetov-directed “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter”. The flick stars newcomer Benjamin Walker, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Dominic Cooper, and Adam Rockoff. As stupid as the whole thing sounds, I can’t wait to see this thing play out on the big screen. Seth Grahame-Smith, you are the man. Until your gimmick gets old, anyway.

Abe takes out the vampiric trash on June 22nd, 2012.
