Honest Trailer Takes on Michael Bay’s Transformers: Age of Extinction

Just how bad was Michael Bay’s “Transformers: Age of Extinction”? So bad that even though I gave the first three movies a pass for being big and dumb and loud, I just can’t do it this time around. Because there is something about being big and dumb and loud and still entertaining, but “Transformers: Age of Extinction” was just a big lumbering waste of everyone’s time. When even the presence of Dinobots can’t save your movie, let’s face it, you’re doing something really wrong.

The best — and ONLY — decent part of the movie is Stanley Tucci running around like a maniac screaming at everything, as some kind of Steve Jobs clone who is so totally into his Chinese assistant played by Bingbing Li. Other than that, this movie just sucked. HARD.

So what’s Honest Trailer’s take on “AOE” (as the cool kids call it)? Let’s find out together, shall we?

(And yes, the China pandering. Good grief.)
