Actress Hope Davis (below), along with James Rebhorn and Olga Fonda, have joined the cast of Hugh Jackman’s sci-fi actioner “Real Steel”. Besides Jackman and now Davis, the cast includes “Hurt Locker” co-stars Evangeline Lilly and Anthony Mackie, and “Robin Hood’s” Kevin Durand.
“Real Steel” revolves around the futuristic sport of robot boxing, with Jackman playing a former boxer who gets one last shot at a comeback when he teams with his long-lost son to train their very own robot boxer for the match of a lifetime.
Shawn Levy is directing from a script by John Gatins, with production set for later this month.
