I have to admit, I’ve never had a horrible boss. Okay, I’ve had my share of stupid, moronic bosses, but horrible bosses? Not really. I had one who barely came into the office, but that only meant we could goof of for hours, so he’s more of a great boss than a horrible boss. One thing’s for sure, though: I’m glad I never had these guys for bosses. But then again, having Jennifer Aniston wanting to jump my bones might not be the end of the world. Honestly, how is that bad? Oh right, he’s, like, in love with someone else or something. Whatever, loser. By the way, Colin Farrell with a beer belly? Hilarious.
For Nick, Kurt and Dale, the only thing that would make the daily grind more tolerable would be to grind their intolerable bosses into dust. Quitting is not an option, so, with the benefit of a few-too-many drinks and some dubious advice from a hustling ex-con, the three friends devise a convoluted and seemingly foolproof plan to rid themselves of their respective employers…permanently. There’s only one problem: even the best laid plans are only as foolproof as the brains behind them.
Starring Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, Jason Sudeikis, Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrell, Kevin Spacey, Donald Sutherland, Julie Bowen, Jamie Foxx and directed by Seth Gordon.
Clocking in for work on July 8, 2011.
