IFC to Release Tetsuo: The Bulletman in US Theaters This January

Despite my somewhat puzzled reaction to Shinya Tsukamoto’s surreal sci-fi actioner “Tetsuo: The Bullet Man”, I think it’s incredibly cool that this ambitious production will find its way into a handful of US theaters beginning on January 21st courtesy of IFC Films. And while a comprehensive list of theaters hasn’t been made available to the public as of this writing, apparently New York, Chicago, Denver, and Detroit are apparently already scheduled to screen the film. Although my opinion of the picture isn’t overwhelming positive, you’d be quite silly to pass up the opportunity to see this beast of a movie in a theater. If you’re curious to read my thoughts, feel free to investigate my review.
