Images from Jackie Chan and Jet Li’s Forbidden Kingdom

There are probably only two sure things about the upcoming Jet Li/Jackie Chan collaboration, “The Forbidden Kingdom”: The Chinese Government will probably find another reason to ban it, and the action is going to be kick-ass. How could it not, with action choreographer Yuen Wo-Ping literally pulling the strings? Now some images from the movie have popped up online here. In the third picture you can see the “American kid”, from who the story (a loose remake of the Chinese tale “Journey to the West”) the movie is being told from. Yes, they had to toss an American kid in there because, apparently, American kids couldn’t relate to a Chinese version. That’s Hollywood for ya.

If ya want to get the real pros involved get in touch with some of these 10th degree Grand Masters at this website http://www.mararts.org Oh and also I think that a real fight between Jet Li and Jackie Chan would be a long fight because they have very different styles and viscious in their own right, don’t take it for granted that Chan is a push over just because he likes to laugh.
