USAToday‘s got an article and some new images from Oliver Stone’s “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps”, the sequel to his 1987 hit “Wall Street”. As the global economy teeters on the brink of disaster, a young Wall Street trader (played by Shia Labeouf) partners with disgraced former Wall Street corporate raider Gordon Gekko (Michael Douglas, reprising his original role) on a two-tiered mission: To alert the financial community to the coming doom, and to find out who was responsible for the death of the young trader’s mentor. Here’s a guess: it’s probably Josh Brolin. Meanwhile, Gekko tries to reconnect with his cute as a button daughter Winnie (Carey Mulligan). All that, and current social relevancy, too!
