Young nubile American girls head over to Mexico with their invariably horny boyfriends, and in-between shenanigans in the bushes and insulting the local customs, they stumble across a ruin (hence the title) and horrific shenanigans take place. Or at least, that’s what I think happens in the new teen horror movie “The Ruins”. But don’t let the generic plot fool you, this thing is rated R, so that means plenty of the red stuff and, if we’re lucky, some gratuitous nudity. Because let’s face it, if a teen horror movie can’t be bothered to supply the red and pointy stuff, what’s the point of an “R”-rating? New images from the movie below.

A group of friends whose leisurely Mexican holiday takes a turn for the worse when they, along with a fellow tourist embark on a remote archaeological dig in the jungle, where something evil lives among the ruins.
