In case you missed it, ol long chin himself was on American Idol last night tutoring the remaining contestants on songs from the cinema. What, you didn’t watch American Idol last night? What kind of an American are you? I’m sick and disgusted by you. Anyhoo. Quentin Tarantino showed up on last night’s AI to help the kids sing songs from the cinema. Now what Tarantino is doing giving advice on how to sing is anybody’s guess (and who are we to question the AI Gods), but they also showed a clip from QT’s upcoming “Inglourious Basterds”, which is the clip below. And remember, kids, Nazis ain’t got no humanity!
In Nazi-occupied France during World War II, a group of Jewish-American soldiers known as “The Basterds” are chosen specifically to spread fear throughout the Third Reich by scalping and brutally killing Nazis. The Basterds soon cross paths with a French-Jewish teenage girl who runs a movie theater in Paris which is targeted by the soldiers.
Starring Brad Pitt, Samuel L. Jackson, Diane Kruger, Mike Myers, Cloris Leachman, Samm Levine, B.J. Novak, Eli Roth, Til Schweiger, Julie Dreyfus, and Michael Fassbender. Quentin Tarantino writes and directs.
The basterds are a’comin’ August 21.
