Ya know,..I loved Mel as Max.He gave that role life,and its hard to change things.But,its been so long since that series made us think of Mel Gibson that,..well,why not try something new?? Mel Gibson stands for Lethal Weapon to me anymore,not Mad Max,though I have the whole set on DVD.HeHe,..guys dont worry.Tom Hardy will work well,I promise you all.You wont suffer over the No Mel issue.Tom will make you forget he’s not Mel.Meaning he’s such a good actor that you’ll forget your missing Mel,and you’ll watch him without realising it. How can Max’s son be part of this latest story?
He died with his Mom in the 1st movie, which is why Max went Mad in the first place.
There is no mention of Max ever geting into another relationship since or adopting a kid or anything.

Come on. . .get a grip! No Mel gibson = No mad max!

Mel gibson is mad max, nothing can change that, and he can still do it if you ask me! It’s the same with Conan the barbarian, you can’t just make someone else play that character, it’s not going to work!

I hope Mel turns up for that though, being 53 or not. So what, Arnold was 55 in T3.

It is about time for the next Mad Max. Of course Mel Gibson will be part of the project introducing his son who will carry on.
