This movie was so terrible that I felt morally obligated to produce a parody. See it here:

It pretty much sums up all my thoughts on the film.

What can one say about Sixth Sense. It was brilliant and forced everyone to watch it again to see all the clues they missed.

I liked Unbreakable, although the pace was a little slow at times. This one seemed to have mixed reviews, but I didn't see how someone could completely bash it without pointing out some good parts.

I found Signs to be a movie that captivated me from start to finish. I enjoyed the portrayal of one rural family's experience of an appocolytical(probably mispelled) event.

Wow, so now we get to the Village. Sorry, I thought it was a complete waste of time. The only other movie I saw in the theater which was worse was Blair Witch. Oh, and some cheap cheap Sci Fi movie in 1981 which I forget the name.

With Lady in the Water, I was so hoping for redemption. But I had not read any reviews, so I had no prior warning that I would totally regret losing that evening of my life, devoting it to a pointless attempt by M Night to portray himself as mankinds savior.

Now, I keep telling myself that I have watched a lot of bad appocolytic movies and felt, at the least, mildly entertained by them(I even enjoyed "A Boy and His Dog"). But the reviewers are pushing me quickly to the decision to not risk this one, but wait for DvD. The guys and I had planned on watching the midnight opening show for this movie tonight (June12), but we may have to rethink our plans at dinner before we embark on a potential trek to distaster.

You said there are two people who have seen it and did not like it, yet you only quote from the one article which bashes the movie. That review itself is suspect as what he has described is from the original script. And he claims there is no score in the version he saw when the score was completed a few weeks back. It is a wonder how the internet enables the spread of opinions & claimed experiences so widely and so fast that people don't even stop to think if it is true or fake.
