Italian Trailer for Brandon Routh’s Dylan Dog

Watching this dubbed Italian trailer for Brandon Routh’s long-delayed “Dylan Dog: Dead of Night” movie, I wonder if people in Italy bitch and moan about all their films being dubbed, too, or if it’s just an American thing? Anyways, here’s the Italian trailer for Routh’s “Dylan Dog”, which now has a March 11, 2011 release date according to IMDB. The trailer still doesn’t blow me away, and if anything, it looks like your pretty standard SyFy Channel movie of the week, only with slightly (let me emphasis that, slightly) better than usual production values. This, despite a reported $20 million dollar production budget.

Dylan Dog is the world’s only paranormal investigator. He hardly moved to New Olreans to escape a life made of nightmares. However, nightmares will find him again. A missing artifact, a beautiful heiress and a brutal murder conspire to drag him back into the dark world of the undead… Have you ever wondered if the person next to you was really part of your world?

Starring Brandon Routh, Peter Stormare, Sam Huntington, Taye Diggs, Anita Briem, Kurt Angle, Courtney J. Clark and directed by Kevin Munroe.

Thanks to Mike for the heads up.

Unfortunately, dubbing is a tradition here in Italy (the majority of people doesn’t speak English and doesn’t like subtitles, even if things have changed in the past few years, thanks to TV shows).
