John McClane goes to Russia in “A Good Day to Die Hard”, the fifth film in the never-give-up movie franchise about the right cop in the wrong place at the right time. Check out what ol John and his son Jack (who calls his dad “John”, by the way) are up to these days in a new, 4-minute featurette and yet another clip from the film. One thing’s for sure: Russia will never be the same. (Or wherever they shot most of the action scenes in the movie, anyway.)
I wonder where they’ll go with this. If the studio is thinking Jack will eventually take over, they’re deluded. There is no “Die Hard” without John McClane and Bruce Willis. And I’m really not sure I want to see another “Die Hard” movie where Jack and John are teaming up again, but maybe that’s just me.
Bruce Willis returns in his most iconic role as New York cop John McClane – the “real” hero with the skills and attitude to always be the last man standing. This time the take-no-prisoners cop is really in the wrong place at the wrong time after traveling to Moscow to help his estranged son Jack. With the Russian underworld in pursuit, and battling a countdown to war, the two McClanes discover that their opposing methods make them unstoppable heroes.
Starring Bruce Willis, Jai Courtney, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Amaury Nolasco, Cole Hauser, Sebastian Koch, Aksel Hennie, Julia Snigir, and directed by John Moore.
The McClanes blow up Russia good February 14, 2013.
