Huh. A movie where everyone is made up of LEGO toys? I guess the kids will like it, though honestly, I don’t know any kids that actually play with LEGOs anymore. But then again, maybe I just know kids who don’t appreciate the complexity of, er, LEGOs. Right? Something like that.
Anyhoo. Here’s the latest trailer for “The LEGO Movie”. Batman going around doing Bat puns is kinda funny, though it would be even funnier if they somehow got Christian Bale to do the voice. Now THAT would be hilarious.
The original 3D computer animated story follows Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.
Featuring the voices of Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Nick Offerman, Alison Brie, Charlie Day, with Liam Neeson and Morgan Freeman.
