How do we know? Because casting directors in the UK have begun sending out casting notices to agencies, that’s how. The movie is apparently looking for a couple of actors in their ’20s, and a pair of actresses in their late teens. Plus, an older “military type” in his ’40s.

Here’s the casting breakdown (sans character names, of course) via Deadline:

A young man aged between 20 and 25, witty and smart, fit but not classically handsome,

Man in late twenties, also fit, but this one is handsome and confident.

Late teenage girl, independent, good sense of humour, also… physically fit .

Second young female, also late teens, tough, smart and physically fit.

Man in his forties, obviously physically fit, this one is a military type.

A man of around thirty or so, this one is an intellectual type.

Finally, a guy aged around seventy, strong opinions and tough.

J.J. Abrams’ “Star Wars: Episode VII” is due in 2015, with production set to begin in early 2014 in the UK. Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fisher are expected back, though it’s unclear how big their roles will be.

I’m not immersed enough in “Star Wars” fandom that I could tell you who any of these people are, but if you are of the faith, feel free to speculate in the comments section below.
